I have a entire different respect for principals. It has been one hectic week. I used to think that lesson planning and data interpretation of JUST my classes were hard....PPPPPPPPSH. Today, it took me the ENTIRE DAY to do scheduling.  Continuously making alterations and corrections to it. I never imagined the amount to tedious and meticulous work that went into creating masters schedule and making school maps. It was exhausting. 

Well, this was my first week as an AP. It has been a hectic week. I've had to inventory classrooms, purchase promethean boards, give work orders, set up volunteer projects, and hire and fire faculty and staff. This was all in ONE day.  I can already tell that this year will be challenging, but I think that I am ready for the challenge. Below is a picture of my office. My name is Nykeisha Bryer. I wear many different hats, but my favorite hat is a teacher. This year, I will be transitioning from classroom teacher to Assistant Principal (big jump) lol.
